My first attempt at creativity, I am told, was redecorating the family Christmas tree. Later my creativity went towards opening my Christmas presents then rewrapping and putting them back under the tree. As I grew older I graduated to creating papers and making copiesf on the mimeograph machine at church. Quickly, I graduated to making posters and flyers for both school and church.
Eventually my sister started twirling baton and I was dragged along with. I was getting rather board of the whole thing when I stumbled upon Photography. Very quickly I became captivated by taking close ups, and unusual angles. For a very short time I contemplated getting involved with learning how to develop my own photos, but a combination of a minimum wage job and lack of space prevented further exploration.
I have always had a interest in computers and started hearing whispers of a program that could manipulate and alter photos, and I knew right away that this was the answer to changing my photos. However, it would be a few years before I actually got my hands on a copy of that program. I worked in the computer section of a office store and my job was to handle the software section, and when Adobe sent out a packet about the new Creative Suite the manager gave it to me. In the packet was an entry form to win an actual copy of this new suite of software, so I sent it in. Then one day at work a box arrived addressed to myself and inside was a copy of the Adobe Creative Suite!
Since I first installed the Adobe Creative Suite I have made it my personal quest to learn more about Photoshop, photography, Art and creativity in general. In college I became a tutor of Photoshop and now I wish to expand out words to helping a variety of people learn and understand Photoshop, Photography, and Creating works of art.
